With a background spanning various aspects of healthcare, Dr. Gowda has extensive experience in Emergency Medicine, having served in numerous small facility hospitals across the United States from March 2004 to May 2021. Prior to this, Dr. Gowda contributed significantly to Hospital Medicine at Sacred Heart Health System in Pensacola, FL, from September 2002 to April 2014.

Dr. Gowda's leadership roles underscore his commitment to advancing healthcare delivery. He served as Medical Director of Hospital Medicine at Sacred Heart Hospital from December 2004 to December 2012 and held successive positions as Vice Chief of Medicine (January 2009 to December 2010) and Chief of Medicine (January 2011 to December 2012) at the same institution.

Furthermore, Dr. Gowda is an Assistant Professor Clinical at FSU School of Medicine since June 2004, contributing to medical education and training the next generation of healthcare professionals.

Dr. Gowda's contributions to the field have been recognized with prestigious awards, including the Presidential Award (2009-2012) and Outstanding Faculty (2013) from both Sacred Heart Hospital and Lake Erie College of Medicine.
