Brittany Carothers is a certified Physician Assistant at our Pensacola office. She received her undergraduate degree from The University of Georgia. Brittany worked as a medical assistant in ortho & urgent care with anticipation on becoming a Physician Assistant. In 2016, she obtained her master’s from South University in Savannah, GA.
Brittany is a current member of the Florida Academy of Physician Assistants and American Academy of Physician Assistants. Some of her medical interests include Women’s Health and Geriatrics.
Brittany is originally from Atlanta, GA. She lives in Pensacola with her husband, Mike who is a Navy pilot and dog, Lacie. In her spare time, Brittany enjoys exercising, gardening, painting and taking Lacie to the dog park. Some of Brittany’s favorite things are animals, French fries, shopping at TJMaxx and traveling.
Kathie Spalla is a certified physician assistant and has been a valued member of Quality Urgent Care & Wellness since 2018. She is a native of Youngstown, Ohio.
Kathie has over 15 years’ healthcare experience with a background in radiology before receiving her Master of Physician Assistant from Cleveland State University in Cleveland, Ohio. She is passionate about breast care, ortho, pain management and patient education.
Kathie has 2 children and 2 grandchildren. She lives in Gulf Breeze, FL. In her spare time, Kathie enjoys an active lifestyle which include waterskiing, playing softball, riding motorcycles, horseback riding, hiking and traveling. Some of her favorite things are going to the beach, cruising, entertaining & spending time with family and friends.
Courtney is originally from Starkville, MS. She has been a nurse since 2004 and has extensive experience in Burn, Emergency Medicine, Intensive Care, Surgical and Trauma. Courtney further her education by obtaining a Master of Nursing Science Credentialed Program from University of Arkansas Medical Science in 2014. While at UAM, she was a member of the nursing honor society Sigma Theta Tau and volunteered with 12th Street Free Community Clinic.
Courtney joined Quality Urgent Care & Wellness in 2016 shortly after relocating to Pensacola. Courtney wears many hats: she sees patients at Quality Primary Care, Advanced Care Provider Lead for Quality Urgent Care and precepts. Courtney’s interests are to work on finishing her Doctorate Nurse Practitioner, precept and teach.
Courtney and her husband, Jon live in Perdido Key along with 4 sons and 2 daughters. In her spare time, she enjoys being involved with her family, going on date nights with her husband and learning new ways to help her patients through evidence-based practice. Courtney could be won over with a good cup of coffee and conversation.
Katie is a Niceville native and graduate of Niceville High School. She completed her graduate education at the University of Florida where she received her Master of Physician Assistant Studies. She has experience in Orthopedics, Trauma and Urgent Care.
Katie is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants. Some of her medical interests include orthopedics, pediatrics and women’s health.
Away from the office, Katie enjoys going to the beach, catching up on a good book, spending time with her family and Orange Theory Fitness.
Katie is a compassionate physician’s assistant who takes pride in helping others by providing the highest level of care at Quality Urgent Care & Wellness.
Sara is a PA-C practicing in our Fort Walton Beach office. She has been a member at Quality Urgent Care & Wellness since 2018. She is originally from Coweta, Oklahoma and was an Active Duty Air Force medic for 8 years. While serving our country, Sara was deployed to Iraq three times to work in a level 1 trauma center. After her enlistment ended, she went back to school and earned her master’s in physician assistant studies from University of South Alabama.
Some of her specific areas of medical interest include
Sara enjoys traveling, playing golf, working out, crafting and spending time with family. Some of her favorite things are family time, collecting fridge magnets from places she has visited and binge-watching TV shows. She lives in the Crestview area with her husband, 3 children and a cat name KitKat.
